Between Stops: The Commute, Observed

Keisuke's commute across London on 11 September 2026: Westminster's concrete, the escalators, the Bakerloo line and the carriage in between, hood up the whole way.
Nobody stopped him for a shot. Photographer Toby Hogger followed him in transit, the way the city sees you on any weekday. This is London streetwear as it actually gets worn: layered for a platform that's cold one minute and a carriage that's warm the next.
Westminster to the Bakerloo line
It starts above ground. The Midnight Graf Denim Jacket goes on over a hoodie: 13 oz rigid black denim, cut to sit at the waist, with the Graf lettering tone on tone across the back yoke. It reads in movement rather than at first glance, which suits a day spent mostly walking away from people.

Then down. Westminster's concrete, the long escalators, the walk to the Bakerloo line.

Layering for the commute
The hoodies do the work. The Bridge Hoodie and Vinnie Hoodie are both 530 GSM heavyweight cotton with a double-zip front, so they open up on a warm train without coming off. The Release Hoodie in grey marl is cut cropped and boxy, with the Graf lettering appliquéd across the chest. Under it all, the Backbeat long-sleeve: 300 GSM cotton jersey with a denim back panel, the bit you only see on the escalator.
The streetwear styling rule here is simple: one heavy layer, one structured layer, hood up. More of our heavyweight pieces are in Hoodies & Sweatshirts.

Fit notes for the commute
Midnight Graf Denim Jacket. A shorter body than our Archive Graf jacket, cut to sit at the waist over jeans or joggers. Take your usual size. It's rigid 13 oz denim, so it starts stiff and softens with wear.
Bridge Hoodie. Structured and oversized, in 530 GSM cotton. The model wears a medium. If you want it to sit under a jacket, as Keisuke wears it, stay with your usual size rather than sizing up.
Vinnie Hoodie. Relaxed rather than oversized, and true to size. Male model wears M, female model wears S.
Release Hoodie. Cut cropped and boxy with dropped shoulders. Take your usual size for the intended shape, or size down for a closer fit.
AOP Graf Hood. True to size with a relaxed, oversized silhouette. It's made to age with washing, so the graf softens over time.
Looking after the heavyweights. Close the zips, wash at 30°C inside out on a gentle cycle, and dry flat. Don't tumble dry: 530 GSM cotton keeps its shape best when it's reshaped damp.
Between stops
And somewhere between stops, the eyes close.
