Barbican: Graf on Concrete
An August afternoon, two mates, an all-over graf tee and a gold comb in the back pocket.
An August afternoon, two mates, an all-over graf tee and a gold comb in the back pocket.
No set and no rail of samples. Shot around the Barbican: market canopies, pebble-dash, a stairwell, cobbles. Just London streetwear in the places it's actually worn.
All-over graf
The AOP Graf T-shirt carries the Graf artwork front and back in black and white, on 100% cotton jersey. It reads from every side of the street, so it needs nothing loud next to it. Here it's worn with Sound Clash denim: 13.5 oz cotton in a vintage-inspired wash, relaxed and structured, with the Sound Clash graphic detailing.

Three colours of Vinnie
The Vinnie T-shirt came along too, in Black/Green, White/Blue and White/Red. It's 300 GSM heavyweight cotton in an oversized cut, the kind of tee that holds its shape on its own. For streetwear styling that means no layering needed in August: one tee, one pair of jeans, done. All three colours are in the Vinnie collection.

Fit notes
AOP Graf T-shirt. True to size. The male model wears L and the female model wears S, as shot here: a straight, easy fit, not boxy.
Vinnie T-shirt. Oversized by design, so take your usual size and let the cut do the work. The male model wears M. At 300 GSM it holds its shape through the day rather than clinging.
Sound Clash Denim Jeans. Relaxed and structured, true to size. The male model wears a 34. The 13.5 oz denim is substantial, so pair it with a heavyweight tee rather than anything thin.
Washing the tees. Wash at 30°C inside out with similar colours, don't tumble dry, and iron on the reverse. The graf lasts longest that way.
Roots Comb. Use on damp or dry hair, working from the ends to the roots. Wipe it with a soft cloth; don't soak it.
Rituals
And the comb, because some rituals travel with you. The Roots Comb in gold is 14.5 cm long, an everyday object with a cultural reference built into its form.
